Congratulations sir. You have earned the trust of the American people and will lead our nation starting January 20th next year. Even without my support, somehow you gained the confidence of the majority of our country. Now I pray that you don't let us down. The good news for you from me, is that you actually have a bit of a clean slate. I mean, what have you ever done? Here is your chance to start and I will give you a real shot. I do believe you can be a great President and help our nation because you do have the ability to get followers and you have the support of America behind you. Now all you have to do is listen to us and make good, correct decisions. Be careful with this war and please don't bring it home to our shores when you withdraw the troops. Be careful when you tax the businesses that you don't cut jobs and inhibit growth and prosperity for employees. Protect the American family and what we stand for. Encourage self-reliance and don't punish the successful for achieving their dreams. I hope you do find many sources of alternative energy, but I hope you consider drilling for the oil that we depend on now. There is a reason that God put it in the earth. Why not use it? Secure our borders and stop illegal immigration. Be wise when you decide to try and sit down with leaders of foreign nations that you take into consideration what these countries have done to us and how they feel about our freedom. You have my support and I wish you luck.
One undeniable fact is that American history was made tonight. 2-Pac was wrong, I guess we are ready to see a black president. It is exciting to see us make progress in this regard, hopefully we will always continue to move forward in important matters and leave any sort of discrimination behind us. Obama being black was never an issue to me and I don't know of anyone that saw it as an issue to them, but we know that progress has been made in our country.
It's been a long election and even though it didn't turn out exactly how I would have liked, I accept our country's decision. We are still the greatest nation on earth and we can stay that way. There was a great quote I heard in church last Sunday that the Lord needs America and she will not fail. American got the change that I guess it was looking for. Hopefully it's the kind of change we need. Obama gave another one of his "great" speeches tonight and hopefully he will show us the meat he has been speaking about for the past 20 months. I suppose we all have to try and be optimistic and support him on some level. Good Luck President Obama.
p.s. A little speech from William Wallace to keep us motivated...this was a speech with some meat on it.

Thanks for your great optimistic opinions. I guess since the big decision is over, we need to try and make the best of it and still stay together as a great nation!
At least prop. 8 passed huh. Florida had the same thing: Ammendment 2. It passed w/ well over 60 percent of the vote.
Oh Obama.
